'GWH' star Matt Damon misses his best friend and fellow actor Ben Affleck since hitting the big time. The 'Rounders' actor misses the   closeness the two friends shared before they became famous. The Oscar-winning duo used to share an  apartment together, with Affleck sleeping on the couch, and right after the Academy Awards, Damon and  Affleck spent a month and a half together in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania rehearsing for the film DOGMA, the next offering from 'Clerks' writer/director Kevin Smith. Damon says, "I still talk to him pretty frequently, but not   as much as I'd want because we're so busy." Ah, the high price of fame. Cybersleaze News, September 18, 1998.

There is a new box cover of 'School Ties' available for purchase.  The old version had just Brenden Fraser on the cover.  The new version has Fraser, Robin a.k.a. Chris O'Donnell, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon advertised as "young rising stars."  The back cover also has pics of Matt and Ben. (As reported by Tara).

NEW YORK (AP) - Before ``Good Will,'' there was ill will. Matt Damon, the Hollywood star of ``Good Will Hunting'' and ``School Ties,'' blasted young actors as ``morons'' in a newly unearthed 4-year-old interview that was never published.  July 21, 1998.

Looks like MATT DAMON is making the most of his new found wealth with a series of massive spending sprees. The Oscar winning GOOD WILL HUNTING star has already bought up two matching Mercedes cars for his parents. He's also reportedly splashed out on a new wardrobe and a $10,000 gold ROLEX watch. MATT DAMON says we are right. He won't do a Calvin Klein underwear ad. But the young Oscar-winner wants it known he was not "hotly pursued" to pose in his skivvies. Calvin never even asked him.
